Mayor of Winchester's Charities 2012-13

Cllr Frank Pearson was appointed as the new Mayor of Winchester at a Mayor Making Ceremony at Winchester Guildhall on Wednesday 17th May 2012 - his wife, Anne, will serve as the Mayoress.

Cllr Pearson has represented the Ward of Swanmore and Newton on Winchester City Council for the last ten years.

During his term as Mayor, Cllr Pearson’s chosen charities will be The Magic Wand Appeal for the RHCH, the Felix Fund - the Bomb disposal charity and Bishop’s Waltham Community Responders. The theme of the chosen charities is ‘A helping hand’. For more information on the charities, visit the link above.

Cllr Pearson said: "I am looking forward to using my time as Mayor to visit the people who live and work in our District. It is the people in our communities that make it such a fantastic place to live and I am very pleased to be appointed the 813th Mayor of this most ancient City of Winchester.”
