Our Charities for 2011-12

The Mayor, Cllr Barry Lipscomb, is very committed to the three charities he has chosen to support during his year of office. Indeed he is Chairman of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and has a close personal interest in the work of the Breast Unit at Royal Hampshire County Hospital. He has been very moved, as have many, by the high number of servicemen in The Rifles who have been killed or wounded in Afghanistan and saw his Mayoral year as an opportunity to help them and their families.
