Cllr Barry LipscombeThe Mayor of Winchester traditionally leads an extensive programme of fundraising for local charities. The current Mayor, Cllr Barry Lipscomb, is keen to continue that tradition and is proud to introduce the three charities which will benefit from Mayoral fundraising in 2011- 2012:

This year's charities are:
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
The Rifles Care for Casualties Appeal
Winchester Cancer Research Trust

It's easy to donate using your mobile phone - just text MOWC11 £10 to number 70070

"The charities I have chosen all play an important role in the life of people in the Winchester District. They are three excellent causes, all truly deserving of both our gratitude and support. I hope you enjoy browsing this site dedicated to my Mayor’s Charity fundraising and I look forward to meeting you at some of our events over the coming year."
